Owning your future…
Recently, Pamela Slim wrote a post on her blog about being your own leader on her blog "Escape from Cubicle Nation." One of the pitfalls I have seen in Network Marketing is that when a company launches a great product or new incentive plan, people make the "mad dash" to recruit new distributors. Then, the hard work pays off when a group of new distributors sign up; but where is the support? The new recruit is often left in the dust wondering where their sponsor is and why the training is not there. It is essential that we train our distributors to be their own leaders. They need to fashion their businesses after their own dreams and life goals. Pam's article shows us how we can take that step and "own" our own leadership. When we demonstrate the leadership qualities to ourselves, we are actually able to demonstrate them to others and build ourselves AND our teams at the same time.
